In this option, the image wraps around the .75 inch deep or 1.5 inch deep frame, creating depth in the image and a very sleek look. 001 In this option, the .75 inch or 1.5 inch edge is either black or white, so none of the image is "lost" around the edge. 002-003 FAQs Which edge option is best? It really depends upon which image you're choosing. Personally, I like the image wrap option because it creates such a cool visual effect. However, because the frame is either .75 or 1.5 inches deep, you do lose up to 3 inches of the image. This may not work so well with smaller prints or tightly cropped images. If you choose a black and white image, often a black edge looks best. If you're not certain which choice is best for the image you want, just ask. And I review each order personally, so I'll let you know if I have a suggestion to help you get the most impact. Will it look like a photo or a painting? You will receive a high-resolution image, the only difference is that it's printed on canvas instead of photo paper. It will look sharp like a photo, but the effect of the texture of the canvas can give it an artistic quality, especially on some of the more abstract images. But there are no special effects - it's really is a photo on a canvas surface. The "KU" watermark will be removed. How much is it? You'll have it at your door in about two weeks. Can I get it sooner? Sure! For an additional $25, FedEx will rush it. You will have your print at your door in five business days or less for a total of $39.95 in shipping fees. How large can it be? The short answer: pretty big! Many of these images can be printed on canvas framed up to five feet wide! Each image has sizes from which to choose, but if you'd like more options, just ask for a quote. Unfortunately, some of the images I took with my older camera or under low-light can only go up to about two feet wide, but most newer ones can be bigger. I'll do my best to print the size and dimensions you need. (Note: additional shipping fees may apply, and images must be constrained to whole inches [no fractions]). 8x8 is the smallest size available. How long will it last? The canvas printing process uses archival inks and a UV protective satin coating and are rated not to fade under normal lighting conditions for over 100 years. Is it returnable? It is. Just like an original piece of art that's stretched on canvas, a professional framer will know how to work with it. If you plan on doing this, be sure to order white or black edges so you don't lose any of the image around the sides which will be hidden when framed. Why are you printing in this format? Because it's easy for you, and it looks great. When I was a professional organizer, I noticed that people often procrastinate when a task requires multiple steps.
